Maple French Toast Bake

12 slices of bread cubed
8 oz of cream cheese cubed
8 eggs
1 c milk
1/2 c maple syrup (which is expensive so I often substitute with pancake syrup)

Arrange half the bread in a 2 quart greased baking dish
Sprinkle cream cheese cubes around
(if you like blueberries or pecans you can add them at this point but my kids won't eat it that way)
Add remaining bread
In a bowl whisk eggs, milk and syrup
and pour over all.
Refrigerate covered overnight
Set out 30 min before baking
Bake covered at 350 for 30 min and uncovered for 20
Yum!
